DMR Expands Emergency Center Portfolio


DMR Architects is expanding our police/fire/ambulance/911 center portfolio. These projects include:

County of Bergen Police Department Headquarters Relocation and Renovation
The Bergen County Police Department is presently located at 66 Zabriskie Street, Hackensack, NJ and plans to relocate to 327 E. Ridgewood Ave., Paramus, NJ. DMR Architects has been retained to perform architectural design and construction administration services in connection with an interior renovation of approximately 7,350 square feet and a one story addition of approximately 900 square feet. Included in the relocation are one separate entry for the police, one Sally port, three holding cells, processing room, interview rooms, waiting area, line up area, police offices, communication center, lockers, showers and lounge areas.

City of Bayonne Police Department Renovation
DMR was retained to perform architectural design and construction administrations services for the renovation of the 2nd floor Police Department interior totaling 4,000 square feet.

City of Hackensack Emergency Operations Center Renovation
DMR has been retained to perform architectural design and construction administration services for the Fire Department and Ambulance entryway and second floor renovation.

Township of Wayne Police Headquarters Renovation
DMR has been retained to perform architectural design and construction administration services to renovate the existing Police Headquarters. The last addition and major renovation to the building was completed in the early 1970's and in 2011 the Dispatch Center and Communications Bureau Administrative offices were moved to another area in the Municipal Building. This space now remains vacant. DMR will develop a plan for the efficient reallocation of this space and to evaluate the remainder of Police Headquarters for renovation.

Past projects include the Bergen County Public Safety Operations Center, Hudson County Plaza which includes the Sheriff's Department, a feasibility study for the City of Hackensack for a new municipal complex that includes a Police and Fire Headquarters, and Fort Lee Ambulance Corp. building programming and feasibility study.
