DMR Joins Middlesex County College in Beam Signing

On July 22, DMR joined Middlesex County College in signing the beam of the soon to be West Hall, which will be located on the college's main campus in Edison, N.J.

DMR first completed the programming phase, a challenging process which required numerous committee meetings as the college was making a complete change to their business model.

DMR then proceeded with design services for the new, 32,000 square foot facility.

The new building will provide the college's population of more than 13,000 students with a central location for services such as academic advising, financial aid and registrar. The building design also includes plans for multi-purpose, conference, office, lounge, storage and lobby space.

Construction began in the spring of 2015. When complete, the building will seek LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council.
