Hackensack City Council Approves Downtown Rehabilitation Plan

On June 27, Hackensack City Council passed the Downtown Rehabilitation Plan, developed by DMR Architects, which includes strategies to revitalize 163 acres of the downtown.

For more than a year the City of Hackensack and its leadership has worked with the Upper Main Street Alliance and its members to develop a strategic plan that will attract private development and revitalization to the downtown. An article about the plan, "The Revival of Downtown Hackensack", written by Francis Reiner, PP, LLA - DMR Architects ran in the June/July 2012 edition of Meadowlands USA.
