On September 25, the City of Hackensack welcomed major developers to the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack to learn more about the City's Downtown Rehabilitation Plan, developed by DMR.
More than 60 developers and organizations attended the meeting, which included an overview of the Rehabilitation Plan by Francis Reiner, PP-LLA, DMR Architects, who worked with the City, including members of the Upper Main Street Business Alliance, to develop the plan. The presentation also included details of Hackensack's inherent assets for development and explained an ordinance recently introduced to City Council that will decrease costs and simplify application processes for developers.
In addition to the Rehabilitation Plan, DMR, led by Francis Reiner, PP-LLA, assisted the City as a professional planner for several rezoning, zoning assessment and redevelopment projects. DMR also completed renovations to the 140 year old Masonic Temple in Hackensack into a Cultural and Performing Arts Center, which recently opened for community use and performances.
