On Jan. 30, the New Jersey Alliance for Action honored DMR at the second annual Distinguished Engineering Awards.
DMR was among several award winners for a 2014 Distinguished Engineering Award for the Bergen County Public Safety Operations Center. DMR designed the $12 million, 30,000 square foot, 24/7/365 Bergen County Public Safety Operations Center which provides the County of Bergen and its communities with exceptional Emergency Management services. This state-of-the-art building houses a 911 Command Center, Communication Center, Emergency Operational Center, Office of Emergency Management, Radio Shop and key personnel offices. The building was designed using LEED sustainable principles.
The New Jersey Alliance for Action is a non-profit organization comprised of business, academic and government professionals who support construction and economic growth throughout the State. DMR received the award at a reception at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J.
