Bergen County Public Safety Operations Center | New Construction
This 36,000 square foot specialized building is a 24-hour, 7 day a week, 365-day a year, operation.
The facility houses a 911 Command Center, Communication Center, Emergency Operational Center, Office of Emergency Management, Radio Shop, and Key Personnel Offices as the main functions of the building.
In addtion the building contains Telecommunications Access flooring, Data, Voice and Cable Infrastructure, Audiovisual, Security Technologies, MEP and Lighting Design as special features as needed for a 911 Communication Center.
The building was designed using LEED®
sustainable principles. Green features include Energy Star rated light fixtures, low flow plumbing fixtures, high efficiency windows, low VOC interior products and solar panels. The building is estimated to achieve 21% in energy savings.
