Quarter Mile Lane Elementary School | Design-Build Additions & Renovations / LEED Gold

Bridgeton, NJ

As Design Consultant on the Ernest Bock & Sons team, DMR designed additions and renovations to two schools in Bridgeton, N.J., part of a $46 million Design/Build contract with the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. Both buildings are in the process of seeking LEED certification from the USGBC.

The Quarter Mile Lane Elementary School included 91,000 square feet of new construction, including a new three-story classroom wing, a multi-purpose room, cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium and locker rooms. The project increased the capacity of the existing facility by nearly 500 students.

The project also included renovations to the existing 33,000 square foot facility to accommodate Pre-K classrooms, offices and support facilities.
