As part of an overall building program comprising more than $200 million in upgrades, DMR has provided professional services for more than 30 projects in Edison. The projects range from routine maintenance to capacity-generating projects.
DMR designed additions and alterations to John Marshall Elementary School, totaling 56,000 SF of additions and 6,000 SF of alterations. Through a phased construction approach of six phases, the new construction portions will deliver a three-story classroom and one-story cafetorium addition, while alterations on the opposite side of the facility will reconfigure the existing main entrance, administrative offices and cafeteria. In total, the project will deliver 22 new classrooms for kindergarten through grade 5, a new entrance and lobby, music room, cafetorium, art room, media center and offices for guidance, school nurse and administrative staff.
