preK–12 Education

Hudson County Schools of Technology – Frank J. Gargiulo Campus

The Frank J. Gargiulo Campus was a grand vision: 350,000 square feet on 20 acres; a 10,000 square foot skylight; a design that outwardly represented the progressive, innovative and specialized learning that happened there. Making it all happen in 27 months – a year less than most similar projects – required 20 professional services firms, hundreds of skilled tradespeople and a reasoned, yet inventive, approach to design.

Innovative Designs for Young Minds

When DMR was founded in 1991, we were a firm dedicated solely to designing exceptional preK–12 educational spaces. While we have expanded our capabilities far beyond these services since then, early childhood, elementary and high school projects still represent a large portion of our workload.

With a distinguished reputation in this arena, DMR has provided professional services for nearly any project a preK–12 client may require, ranging from large, complex new construction to small capital improvement projects.

No matter the scope, DMR is committed to designing spaces that support security, creativity and efficiency, while providing the best educational environment for today’s students.
