DMR completed three specialty suites at St. Peter’s University Hospital for the oncology, surgery and cardiology departments. Collectively, the projects blend an understanding of professional standards with creating an aesthetic that engages medical personnel and patients, resulting in outstanding functionality and comfort for patients. In designing the projects, DMR paid particular attention to spatial experiences, recognizing that elements such as calming materials, privacy and clear wayfinding impact both services and healing.
In the 5,000 SF cardiology suite, which accommodates a Nuclear Medicine machine, DMR’s design included one stress room, five vascular labs, two exam rooms and support spaces.
