North Hunterdon Regional High School District – Libraries

DMR was retained by the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional School District to make extensive improvements to the districts two high schools: North Hunterdon and Vorhees High Schools, built in the 1950’s and 1970’s respectively. The projects were funded through a successful referendum.

As part of this contract, DMR renovated the libraries at both schools to transform the spaces into modern media centers that incorporated technology upgrades, provided flexible collaborative spaces, and provided a better learning environment for the students of the regional district.

A total of 15,000 SF of space was renovated across the two libraries, adding individual and group study areas, class-sized instruction spaces with presentation capabilities, areas for one-on-one tutoring and parent/teacher meetings, 60 laptop computer stations with upgraded technology, and a student-run mini café, with bar-style seating.
